Leftist actress Bette Midler has changed her Twitter profile picture to a large blue tick in response to Elon Musk removing her profile verification last week.
Middler tweeted a copy of the blue tick, telling her liberal cohorts, “Help yourselves! My pleasure!”
Last week, Bette Midler suffered an epic meltdown after losing her blue tick verification on Twitter, slamming CEO Elon Musk as a “worm.”
“Elon took my blue check away! I’m unverified! After all these years and thousands of tweets and free content, this worm has the nerve to de-certify me!”
Midler continued, writing, “Douche, is the funniest thing you’ve ever done. Let that sink in. Sorry to hear about your rocket.”
Elon Musk began swiping blue ticks from high-profile accounts last week, including Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton.
Currently, only government accounts can get a free verification.
Meanwhile, establishment media outlets have also lost their right to hide the fact that they are government funded.
Earlier this month, Musk slapped “government-funded media” on NPR’s Twitter account, although according to recent reports, the label has disappeared.
Over the weekend, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that people wouldn’t know which reporter or news outlet to believe if they didn’t have blue ticks.
“Jokes aside, this is setting the stage for major potential harm when a natural disaster hits and no one knows what agencies, reporters, or outlets are real,” AOC claimed.
“Not long ago we had major flash floods. We had to mobilize trusted info fast to save lives. Today just made that harder,” AOC added.

OK. To put this in proper perspective, Twitter’s b******s model has changed so that maintaining a “blue check” except for government officials requires an $8/month fee.
Musk didn’t “swipe” anything – the “rich and famous” are just too cheap to pay $8 a month.
