A leaked confession from former president Obama about Joe Biden’s chances of beating Donald Trump in the 2024 election has gone viral for all the right reasons.
A source close to Obama’s inner circle said the former president admitted Biden “very well could lose” to Trump.
The confession came amid concerns from key Obama strategist David Axelrod, who warned Biden to ramp up his efforts or drop out of the race altogether.
“I understand [Biden] was irritated because I raised concerns that many, many Democrats had,” said Axelrod.
“And again, my feeling is either get out or get going.”
As we reported this week, former Obama staff members shared their experiences in the 2012 election, noting how Biden’s is much different.
Some Obama aides said Biden’s team has a weaker ground game than the former president’s.
“The vibe was that the campaign didn’t have its sh-t together,” an anonymous Democrat told Politico.
“There wasn’t infrastructure in the states. There wasn’t a beefed-up campaign headquarters. And compared to where Obama was in 2011, the campaign was fairly anemic.”
In December, former Obama advisor and MSNBC contributor Jennifer Palmieri warned that Biden’s 2024 campaign does not stand a chance heading into the election year.
“The fate of the Republic is hanging in the balance, and there are polls that have Donald Trump leading right now,” Palmieri said.
“So it’s not just going to be Biden, but there is just this scary thing that overhangs everything about whether we’re just too divided.”
“It’s just too late. There’s too many silos,” Palmieri added.
“How am I going to reach all of the voters I need to reach given all the media silos that there are? I mean, that is what I would be churning on every day is just sort of the mechanics of getting that message out,” Palmieri added.
Meanwhile, a Wall Street insider recently predicted that Biden would be removed from the ballot as soon as August 19.
In Biden’s place, he said, a controversial “shadow candidate” will be installed to usher in liberal policies and regulations.
Last month The Daily Fetched reported that Biden raised eyebrows after making strange comments about Gavin Newsom, which alluded to 2024 rumors that the California Governor might be preparing to run for president.
“He’s been one hell of a governor, man,” Biden said.
“Matter of fact, he can be anything he wants; he could have the job I’m lookin’ for,” he added.

Earlier in January, we reported on CNN’s first projection of the 2024 Electoral College map which showed that Trump is well-positioned to win this year’s presidential election.
CNN said:
“And it is that path to 270 that we attempt to explore here. We base this current outlook on public and private polling, conversations with campaign advisers, Republican and Democratic political operatives, members of Congress, and political professionals involved with outside groups poised to be active in the race.”
