Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) proposed a path to citizenship for the eight million illegal aliens who have flooded the United States since Joe Biden took the White House.
During an appearance on The Daily Show, the radical left congresswoman said:
“One of the biggest issues that we have when it comes to immigration is the fact that we have an undocumented population.”
“Now you can fix that by trying to build a wall, or you can fix that by trying to document people and create a path to citizenship.”
“And we’ll have folks that might say, look at these systems, you know that our shelter system has weight and things like that,” she said.
“But one of the reasons that our public systems experience weight is because people don’t have a documented and reliable path to work and sustain themselves,” she continued.
“Just like all of our ancestors did and our grandparents and great-grandparents.”

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol recorded a whopping 3.2 million illegal alien encounters on the border in the fiscal year 2023
That number is expected to balloon to over 12 million by the end of Biden’s first term, more than the three terms preceding him.
The shocking numbers do not include “gotaways” and those who avoided detection, which means the numbers are likley to be even higher.
Last November, we reported that the number of foreign-born citizens in the U.S. reached almost 50 million, spiked by Joe Biden’s wide-open border.
According to data, almost 15% of America’s total population is now foreign-born.
The surge came during the U.S.-Mexico border crisis under Biden’s liberal policies, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The number is likely much higher because the “Current Population Survey” of foreign-born residents does account for those who have escaped border patrol.
CIS Research Director Steven Camarota and CIS Demographer Karen Zeigler wrote:
“More than half (2.5 million) of the 4.5 million increase in the foreign-born population since January 2021 is likely due to illegal immigration.”
“If adjusted for those missed by the survey, the increase would be larger.”
While the daily records of illegal border crossings are unprecedented, the Census numbers show the impact of the open border across the country.
