A confused Democratic California Senator, Dianne Feinstein, was wheeled back into the U.S Capitol building on Thursday as she could be seen trembling and asking, “Where am I going?”
Feinstein, who is 89 years old, returned to the Capitol after more than a two-month absence.
The Huffington Post reported:
“Where am I going?” she could be heard asking as she slowly settled into the wheelchair. Her hand was visibly trembling as she took her seat.
“I’ve got something in my eye,” she said, as her eye appeared bloodshot.
The 89-year-old had been suffering from shingles and other complications, which caused her to miss a total of 93 votes in the Senate.
Many in Feinstein’s party called for her to step down.
According to Feinstein’s office, the Senator has been experiencing vision and balance impairments.
However, despite her return, it appears Feinstein’s situation is much worse than when she left.
She now literally doesn’t know where she is.
Below is a video of her being wheeled into the building:

Democrats had put votes on hold for approving judicial nominees until Feinstein returned.
On Thursday, after she was wheeled into place; Democrats approved six Biden nominees, three of whom passed on a party-line vote.
A statement from Feinstein noted:
“Even though I’ve made significant progress and was able to return to Washington, I’m still experiencing some side effects from the shingles virus. My doctors have advised me to work a lighter schedule as I return to the Senate. I’m hopeful those issues will subside as I continue to recover.”
