Twitter CEO Elon Musk rushed to Tucker Carlson’s defense after Democrat activist Ed Krassenstein called the the former Fox News host a “bigot” and “entertainer” in response his statement video.
“I literally see hundreds of Tweets this morning saying things like ‘Thanks Tucker’ or ‘Go Tucker.’ Let me be clear about one thing,” Klassen said.
“Tucker Carlson is an entertainer. He is an entertainer who stoops down to levels of bigotry. He is a liar who would tell people what they wanted to hear just to get viewers and better ratings,” Klassen added.
“His expertise on Fox News was kissing up to his audiences’ confirmation biases and then spinning the narrative and propagating lies and conspiracy theories to entertain those biases.”
Elon Musk hit the Democrat right back for accusing Tucker of being a “bigot.”
“Anyone making materially false statements on this platform will get Community Noted, including you, me, Tucker, advertisers, head of state, etc. No exceptions,” Musk said. “Convince the people and let the chips fall where they may.”
Carlson encouraged his supporters to “keep fighting” and said they would hear from him soon.
The former Fox News host also noted how “unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are,” arguing that they were “completely irrelevant” and “mean nothing.”

“In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them,” he said, adding, “Trust me as someone who has participated.”
Tucker Carlson closed his remarks hinting about his future plans and his next move, saying, “There aren’t many places left” where Americans can discuss “true things,” but concluding, “There are some, and that’s enough.”
“As long as you can hear the words, there is hope,” he added.
Meanwhile, NBC News blasted Carlson for not directly addressing his departure from Fox News and choosing to highlight the corrupt media.
Meanwhile, CNN branded Carlson a “right-wing media extremist” that “didn’t say much in the rambling two-minute message, but he offered critical commentary on the state of television news, bashing the debates that occur on air as ‘unbelievably stupid’ and “completely irrelevant.”
Former Republican Rep. David Jolly accused Carlson of being a “white nationalist” during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline” on Wednesday.
