Former President Donald Trump was greeted with roaring cheers from construction workers in New York City as he made his way to the courthouse as part of a criminal trial from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Trump spoke with construction workers who had gathered at the scene, while being met with chants of, “We want Trump!” and “USA!”
While the former president did not deliver a formal speech, he spoke directly with the workers and supporters at the site.

“I did nothing wrong,” he said.
“It’s a political witch hunt. It’s election interference, that’s all it is.”
He also spoke about the Supreme Court later this morning hearing presidential immunity case.
“We have a big case today,” he said.
“The president has to have immunity.”
“If you don’t have immunity, you just have a ceremonial president.”
Trump has remained in New York throughout his trial on charges from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over a 2016 payment Trump’s then-attorney, Michael Cohen, made to Stormy Daniels.
The former president pleaded not guilty to 34 counts, arguing the case is part of a political witch hunt designed to stop his return to the White House.
Meanwhile, Judge Juan Merchan rejected Trump’s requests to be excused from proceedings for other events, leading him to limit his campaign pitches.
