Former president Bill Clinton reportedly threatened Vanity Fair over its coverage of late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, according to newly released emails.
As we reported earlier this week, Clinton’s name has appeared over 50 times in the newly released court documents related to Epstein’s associates.
The emails, released Thursday, are the second dump of documents that contain allegations from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre that Clinton told the magazine not to publish articles about Epstein.

Giuffre said in an email to journalist Sharon Church:
“When i was doing some research into VF yesterday, it does concern me what they could want to write about me considering that B. Clinton walked into VF and threatened them not to write sex-trafficing [sic] articles about his good friend J.E.”
Clinton’s name also appeared in the first set of documents where an Epstein victim alleged what Epstein told her about Clinton.
“Did Jeffrey ever talk to you about Bill Clinton?”
“He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls,” she stated.

The unsealed Epstein documents are in connection with litigation between Giuffre and Maxwell, who is serving 20 years in prison for abusing minors and aiding Epstein.
Maxwell’s attorney told NewsNation Wednesday she has “nothing to say” about the Epstein documents.

Flight logs released as part of the litigation show Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet.

Clinton has denied d Giuffre’s allegation she saw him on Epstein’s island.
In 2020, a Clinton spokesperson told Newsweek, “He’d not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade.”
“Well before his terrible crimes came to light.”
Epstein was found dead in a New York City jail cell in August 2019 while he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.
His death was ruled a suicide, and his death was not recorded on tape.
