Jill Biden Forced to Remind Husband That Ice Cream Is His Favorite Food

During an awkward interview, Joe Biden stumbled when asked a softball question on what food he likes, forcing first lady Jill Biden to remind him he enjoys ice cream.

“I’m curious, what sorts of holiday foods have you been enjoying over the last few days?” Ryan Seacrest asked Joe Biden for ABC’s New Year’s Eve programming on Sunday night.

“Well, I’ve been eating everything that’s put in front of me,” Biden began.

“But I’ve eaten pasta, which I love. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan, I’ve been eating all Italian foods, basically.”

The first lady cut in to remind her husband, “And ice cream.”

“And ice cream,” the president added. “Chocolate chip ice cream.”

The media softball interview, which Biden couldn’t even handle, drew major criticism online.

“This is such a farce at this point , seriously ??” one viewer wrote on X.

“All those hardball questions!” added another.

During his almost three-year presidency, Biden gave newspaper reporters zero known interviews.

“My hope is that everybody has a healthy, happy and safe new year,” Biden also told Seacrest in the interview.

“But beyond that I hope they understand that we’re in a better position than any country in the world to lead the world.”

Biden usually needs to have Jill beside him in order to keep on message during interviews.

During a recent solo press conference at the White House, a staffer carried in a front-row seat for the first lady at the last minute.

Biden proceeded to say that he would call on a list of 10 reporters. However, he left just nine after saying Russian troops were pulling out of the Iraqi city of “Fallujah” when he meant to say “Kherson” in southeastern Ukraine, The New York Post noted.

It’s no wonder Trump is leading in national and swing-state polls, as many voters are beginning to realize that Biden is unable to do his job.

Last November, a New York Times poll found 71% of swing-state voters say Biden is “too old to be an effective president,” versus just 39% who said so of Trump.
