Hunter Biden has suggested he may flee the United States if former president Donald Trump wins the 2024 election.
The younger Biden is facing a massive legal battle in relation to tax fraud charges while being investigated by Congress.
If Trump takes back the White House in 2024, he could increase the scrutiny on Hunter and the Biden family.
According to a recent report from Politico, Hunter confided in family and friends that he is considering fleeing the country if Trump wins the 2024 presidential election.
Hunter Biden’s fears were also expressed in a recent appearance on hit singer Moby’s podcast, where he suggested Republicans were “trying to kill him.”
“What they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle,” Hunter Biden told Moby.
“And so, therefore, destroying a presidency in that way.”
A federal grand jury indicted Hunter Biden on nine counts, which included felonies, related to his tax returns.
Earlier this week, Hunter was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee to answer questions about his family’s shady foreign business dealings.
But Hunter refused the deposition and instead delivered a statement on the Capitol lawn.
“Let me state as clearly as I can,” he told reporters.
“My father was not financially involved in my business, not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist.”
On Thursday, Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed Hunter Biden this week, accusing him of evading a lawful subpoena for a deposition.

Greene blasted Hunter for conducting a press conference outside the Capitol, and refusing to comply with the subpoena issued by Chairman James Comer.
“Hunter Biden refusing to show up today is unacceptable,” Greene said.
“President Trump’s own children sat for hours and hours, seven, eight, nine hours each of them in front of Democrat-led committees.”
“Why is it a double standard for the Biden family?”
“Hunter Biden clearly is trying to hide and cover up the money laundering and the abuse of power that he and his father are guilty of.”
