A whopping 61 percent of all voters, including 57 percent of Democrats, believe that federal agents incited the January 6 riot, 2021, according to a new Rasmussen poll.
The poll asked the question:
“How likely is it that undercover government agents helped provoke the Capitol riot?”
61 percent of likely voters said it was either very likely (39 percent) or somewhat likely (22 percent) that the Feds incited he January 6 riot at the Capitol.
According to a report from The Post Millennial:
59 percent of men and 63 percent of women believed that federal agents had “helped provoke the Capitol riot.” This major majority of voters who believe the Capitol riot was not simply naturally occuring breaks down among political party affiliation as well, with 57 percent of Democrats saying it is either very likely (34 percent) or somewhat likely (23 percent) while for Republicans the numbers are 51 percent saying very likely, and 19 percent saying somewhat likely.
Many across the media of the new right have stated their belief, based on photos and eyewitness accounts, that federal agents had been encouraging Trump supporters to enter the Capitol building.
Tucker Carlson was one of the journalists who questioned the notion media narrative that Trump supporters took it upon themselves to demand entry to the Capitol.
Meanwhile, less than 50 percent of likely voters believed that the January 6 Committee did a good job.
Forty-two percent said the Committee had done poorly or weren’t sure, while just 11 percent said the job was fair.
Carlson, who recently gained access to the hours of surveillance footage at the Capitol, is now preparing to sort through and release that footage.
Rasmussen asked likely voters whether they thought Capitol footage should be released.
Likely voters across political parties agreed it was important that the footage be released.
Eighty percent of voters believe it’s important for the footage to be released.
Earlier this month, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell vowed to sue Speaker Kevin McCarthy for only providing the January 6 footage exclusively to Tucker Carlson.
Lindell claimed the Speaker violated the First Amendment’s freedom of the press provision and the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause.
“We’re not gonna sit back and let that happen,” Lindell told Bannon.
“Why does just Fox get this? So they can cover it up even more? It’s disgusting. All of us, including War Room, we all need to see what’s on those tapes, and we need to see all of them.”
