A woman has gone viral after posting a video of her paying for groceries with a chip implant in a store.
The woman, Burgundy Waller, now known as “Chip Girl” on TikTok, said she had a chip with radio-frequency identification implanted in her right hand in 2020.
Waller said she used the chip implant to replace her keys but now uses it for other thing like paying for groceries.
Waller’s TikTok video showed her using the chip in her hand to pay for groceries.

While this appeared to be the woman’s first attempt, it worked, and the purchase went through.
Waller reacted joyfully, saying, “That’s the coolest thing ever.”
Wait, what?
While the convenience of the device impressed Waller, others reacted in horror.
Meanwhile, others associated it with the mark of the beast mentioned in the Book of Revelation.
Other users pointed out that the video is another sign the Government is trying to impose a cashless society on the population.
Of course, this goes together with the move towards a purely digital currency.
While it appears benign on the surface, the future implications of not having access to cash hand over control from the people to a centralized government.
What would stop a person’s bank account from being closed for saying something the Government didn’t like in a purely digital economy? Nothing.
This is not a technological breakthrough but another step towards a government surveillance state.
