“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg wasted no time mocking Christians in the wake of the Nashville School shooting by wearing a hugely inappropriate sweatshirt.
On Monday, a transgender woman shot and killed three children and three adults at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tensions have been rising in the aftermath of a mass shooting.
The evil attack claimed the life of the 9-year-old daughter of the School’s senior pastor, Chad Scruggs.
Scruggs issued a statement symbolizing the Christian view of tragedy, saying, “Through tears we trust that she is in the arms of Jesus who will raise her to life once again.”
However, Whoopi Goldberg appeared hellbent on discrediting the power of Christian prayer following the Nashville shooting.
Goldberg appeared on set wearing a sweater that said “Thoughts and Prayers” crossed out and “Policy and Change” added below.
The message on the host’s sweatshirt was a direct insult to millions of Christians across the U.S.
It appears Goldberg believes that a totalitarian government is the only way to prevent such tragedies, and belief in a divine higher power should be disregarded.
The same slogan on Goldberg’s sweatshirt was also used by liberals in the wake of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018.
To put things in a bit more context, this is the same show where guest Jame Fonda called for the murder of Christian pro-lifers just a week before the Nashville shooting.
“Besides marching and protesting, what else do you suggest?” Joy Behar queried.
“MURDER.” – Jane Fonda said.
“What did you say?” Lily Tomlin asked.
“MURDER!” Fonda replied.
