Disturbing video footage emerged on Tuesday showing the moment a Rand Paul staffer was brutally stabbed in Democrat-controlled Washington, D.C.
Footage of Glynn Neal allegedly attacking Phillip Todd after h left a restaurant with a friend was obtained by The Washington Post.
In the video, Todd and his friend walk out of the frame as the suspect charges in and tackles Todd before repeatedly stabbing him.
“What the f***,” a voice on camera says as Todd’s friend rushes to tackle the suspect.
The two men quickly flee the scene as the suspect gets up and leaves in the opposite direction.

Neal was later charged with assault with intent to kill using a knife.
Neal was released from federal prison roughly 24 hours before the attack, court records indicate.
Neal now remains in prison as he undergoes “a series of psychological evaluations before his next court appearance in September” after he was deemed unfit to stand trial.
“As the parents of Phillip Todd, we would like to give an update on our son’s condition, which will hopefully answer many of the questions we’ve received,” Todd’s parents said back in March after the attack.
“In return, we ask you to respect our privacy and the privacy of our extended family so that we can focus on our son’s recovery.”
“He was randomly and brutally attacked by a person armed with a knife, who, according to the police report, attempted to kill him,” they continued.
“The intervention of our son’s friend helped prevent the wounds from being fatal. Our son is in a stable condition, having undergone trauma surgery to address the wounds in his body,” they added.
“He also has a fracture on his skull, which will be treated with non-invasive neurosurgery. He is expected to make a full recovery due to his young age and good health. Our son and our family draw strength from our faith to see us through this challenging time. Phillip is conscious and alert and has repeatedly stated, ‘The joy of the Lord is my strength’ (Nehemiah 8:10).”

Senator Paul, my condolences to you your staffer and his family. Your dad was a pioneer and a great man in the conservative movement, as are you. Concerning the stabbing incident, a suggestion that could dissuade those criminals and crazies from coming near you and your staffers.
