A Democrat made a total fool of herself during Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee government weaponization hearing by embarrassingly attempting to prove an FBI whistleblower supported the January 6 riot by linking him to some random person’s retweet.
Democratic Rep. Linda Sanchez of California, who sported streaks of purple-dyed hair, shrieked her way through her attempt to “uncover” former FBI agent whistleblower Marcus Allen as a dangerous “MAGA extremist” who supported the January 6 insurgency.
But the only problem was her entire case rested on a single retweet claiming “Nancy Pelosi staged January 6. Retweet if you agree,” by someone who was not Marcus Allen but shared the same name.
Sanchez rambled through her 4-minute attempt to delegitimize Allen, asking him poorly worded questions about whether he believes FBI agents should be impartial and apolitical.
It appeared Sanchez’s goal was to get Allen to agree, then hit him with the random person’s retweet.
However, things became embarrassing for Sanchess when she asked, “Is your account @MarcusA97050645?” to which he replied, “That is absolutely not my account.”
If Sanchez bothered to do some due diligence, she wouldn’t have embarrassed herself.
Perhaps it’s because Sanchez had nothing to discredit Allen with, so she just threw a random retweet at him and hoped for the best.
Even more bizarre is that Sanchez carried on even after it was confirmed that the Twitter account was not Allen’s.
Someone in the background even quipped that the owner of the random Marcus Allen account “could be the football player.”
Allen reaffirmed that the Twitter account in question is not his.

Allen had testified to the subcommittee that he was punished for sending information to his superiors that “questioned the official narrative of the events of January 6.”
“Despite my history of unblemished service to the United States, the FBI suspended my security clearance, accusing me of actually being disloyal to my country,” Allen said.
He added:
“This outrageous and insulting accusation is based on unsubstantiated accusations that I hold ‘conspiratorial views’ regarding the events of January 6, 2021 and that I allegedly sympathize with criminal conduct. I do not. I was not in Washington DC on January 6, played no part in the events of January 6, and I condemn all criminal activity that occurred.”
