President Donald Trump reacted to the response Joe Biden gave on the Nashville Christian school shooting, where he laughed and cracked jokes about ice cream.
28-year-old Audrey Hale massacred three children and three adults on Monday.
While some call the shooting a “targeted attack” against Christians, the left-wing media have refused to report on this possibility. Some outlets even failed to mention the shooter was transgender.
Trump hightlighted the statement Joe Biden made about the horrific Nashville shooting, where he began making inappropriate jokes about how he liked chocolate chip ice cream.
As The Daily Fetched reported on Wednesday, Biden also laughed and cracked jokes when asked by reporters whether the attack was explicitly targeted at Christians.
“I have no idea!” Biden responded, prompting the reporter to note that “[Senator] Josh Hawley believes they were. What do you say to that?”
Biden smiled and replied, “Well I probably don’t then!” before laughing, quickly seeing that no one else found it funny and stating, “I’m just joking.”
Trump savaged Biden’s insensitive reaction during an appearance on Real America’s Voice.
“Somebody messed up. It was so horrible,” Trump said.
“Everyone was waiting to hear his words and he’s talking about ice cream, with a laugh,” he added.
“He’s laughing about it, he’s joking about it. Now we’re in serious trouble,” the 45th President said.
Trump then called for more school teachers to be armed to prevent similar tragedies.
“There’s a percentage of teachers that are very good with guns,” said Trump.
“You have teachers that have a great record–they’re in the military and everything else–and they’re in the school. You can do that–you don’t need a very big percentage. You take the people that are very adept with guns.”
“They could put them safely in some place but very, very nearby. And if you had something like that, you take them out,” he added.
Highlighting that the killer was transgender, Trump suggested that the shooter’s “anger” was worsened by using hormone drugs.
“Then you had the unusual case yesterday of what happened with this person, and the anger that was caused, and that’s something–you know I banned it in the military because the drugs, because the amount of drugs they have to take is incredible,” said Trump.
“And as soon as I get out, Biden opened it up again. And it’s not a good thing because I can tell you, behind the scenes, the generals did not want it,” he added.
