President Donald Trump mentioned GOP Senator Lindsey Graham during his rally in South Carolina, to which the crowd responded by erupting in boos.
This isn’t the first time that the mere mention of Graham’s name ignited a harsh response at Trump rallies.
Earlier this year, audience members booed Graham when he appeared at the podium ahead of Trump’s speech.
During the same event, Trump mentioned Graham which was met with resounding boos.
“A big day for President @realDonaldTrump in South Carolina. @AGAlanWilson and Secretary of State Mark Hammond coming on board is great news, followed by consequential and influential state legislators. The Trump team is getting bigger and better every day in SC!” Graham tweeted.
Trump’s recent rally in South Carolina wasn’t any different, as the simple mention of Lindsey Graham triggered the crowd to respond in boos.

But even Graham’s tweet didn’t escape the negative sentiment.
“You got booed relentlessly!! We don’t understand why Trump still supports you, because the majority of us can’t stand you.. you’re not American first, you’re Ukraine first,” one person wrote in response to Graham’s post.
“Trump would be smart if he dumped you. RINO,” someone else wrote.
Here is another time Graham got booed at a Trump rally:

Many MAGA Republicans are in opposition to Graham’s stance on Ukraine.
“Those who call for the end of U.S. assistance to Ukraine are simply setting the stage for even bigger wars in the future,” GrAham said earlier this year.
“That will lead to more future expenses and even more loss of life in Europe and possibly one day, Taiwan,” Graham has claimed.
“The Ukrainians will be successful if we and other allies continue our support,” Graham said.
“The outcome of this is enormously important to our national security because China and many others are watching closely,” he added.

Victory for Ukraine.
“It is imperative that America continues to support Ukraine’s military. Specifically, the need for long-range artillery – ATACMS – is urgent,” Graham said.

“With continued support from the U.S. & our allies, the Russian invasion will crumble, which would be a tremendous gain for freedom and a decisive defeat for aggression,” he opined.
“From an American point of view, this is a great return on investment,” he claimed.

I hope Republicans and Democrats will continue to see the wisdom of supporting Ukraine’s military.
In May, Graham faced massive backlash after saying, “The Russians are dying” and “It’s the best money we’ve ever spent” during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.
Graham also called on the Biden administration to send more money to Ukraine and thanked the US for its decision to support an international fighter jet coalition.
Earlier this month, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said the West must be prepared for a “long war in Ukraine.”
Stoltenberg quashed any hope of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine coming to an end.
“Most wars last longer than expected when they first begin,” Stoltenberg said per France24.
“Therefore, we must prepare ourselves for a long war in Ukraine,” the NATO Chief said.
“We are all wishing for a quick peace,” the NATO Secretary General continued.
“But at the same time, we must recognize: if President Zelensky and the Ukrainians stop fighting, their country will no longer exist. If President Putin and Russia lay down their weapons, we will have peace.”
