President Donald Trump made it clear he would not be taking any type of a plea deal in his current indictments.
While the 45th president was in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, he was asked, “Is there any chance you would take a plea deal in Georgia?”
“I don’t do plea deals,” Trump responded directly.

“We did nothing wrong.
“We don’t ever take a plea deal,” Trump added.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has indicted Trump on charges of allegedly falsifying business records.
Trump also has two indictments from Special Counsel Jack Smith, one related to Trump’s challenges to the 2020 presidential election and the other to classified documents at Trump’s home.
Trump also faces potential indictment in Georgia amid reports of Trump’s challenge to the 2020 election results in the Peach State.
The leading Republican front-runner for the presidential nomination continued:
“We don’t take plea deals,” he said. “That’s a wise guy question.”
He then hammered home that he would not cut a deal as he “did nothing wrong.”
“These indictments are brought out by Biden, who can’t even put two sentences together,” Trump continued.
“This is Joe Biden ’cause he can’t win the election by himself. He can’t win the election based on votes.”
Earlier this month, Trump raged against special counsel Jack Smith’s proposed trial date for January 2, 2024, on charges relating to the 2020 election results.

Trump took issue with the proximity of the proposed trial date to the Iowa Republican caucuses, which are due to take place on January 15, saying “only a lunatic” would propose to hold the trial on January 2.
The 45th President added that the trial should only occur after the 2024 election, “if at all,” charging that it is election interference.
“Deranged Jack Smith has just asked for a trial on the Biden Indictment to take place on January 2., just ahead of the important Iowa Caucuses,” Trump wrote.
“Only an out-of-touch lunatic would ask for such a date, ONE DAY into the New Year, and maximum Election Interference with IOWA!”
“Such a trial, which should never take place due to my First Amendment Rights and massive BIDEN CORRUPTION, should only happen, if at all, AFTER THE ELECTION. The same with other Fake Biden Indictments. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!” Trump continued.
