The Trump campaign reportedly left a birdcage and bird food outside GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s hotel room.
“After a day of campaigning, this is the message waiting for me outside my hotel room,” Nikki Haley wrote when sharing a photo on X.
A note on the cage, which was positioned outside Nikki Haley’s hotel room door, indicated it was from the Trump campaign.
Haley responded to the message with the hashtags “#PrettyPatheticTryAgain” and “#YouJustMadeMyCaseForMe.”

The Messenger’s Marc Caputo reported that “the Trump camp texted me the birdcage-and-feed photo in front of Haley’s Des Moines hotel door.”

Trump has used the term “Birdbrain” against Haley for some time.
Haley, who previously served as US Ambassador to the UN under Trump, is currently running against her former boss for president.
Recently, she accused Trump of being “weak in the knees” for not wanting to support the war in Ukraine, calling him “thin-skinned and easily distracted.”
“He didn’t do anything on fiscal policy and really spent a lot of money, and we are all paying the price for it,” she said.
“He used to be good on foreign policy, and now he has started to walk it back and get weak in the knees when it comes to Ukraine.”
Trump fired back at Nikki Haley for her remarks on the Ukraine war, stating:
“It’s silly that anyone who is polling as low as left-leaning corporate media should be lecturing anyone about leadership.”
“There’s only one person who can end the killing and bring peace — President Trump,” said Trump Campaign Spokesman Steven Cheung.
“America isn’t going to listen to anyone who wants more war, more bloodshed, and more innocent people being killed.”
Trump also highlighted Haley’s disloyalty in a Truth Social Post:
“Nikki’ Birdbrain’ Haley was exposed for her caustic DISLOYALTY & LIES about the Republican Party, and me.”
“Doesn’t have what it takes, NEVER DID!”
Trump has skipped the two primary debates held so far.
“MAGA, or I, will never go for Birdbrain Nikki Haley,” Trump declared in another post on Truth Social last week.
“No loyalty, plenty of lies! ‘I will never run against our great President,’ she said,’ he has done an outstanding job.'”
“To which I responded,’ How nice of you to say, Nikki,’ knowing full well that her words mean nothing. She even came to Mar-a-Lago with her family, ‘bearing gifts,'” he added.
“Anyway, Birdbrain doesn’t have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
Haley shared a screenshot of Trump’s post, commenting:
