The 2024 Presidential campaign of President Trump has raised over a whopping $34 million for his reelection bid , which came with a boost in contributions following his indictment earlier this month.
Over the first three months of 2023, the Trump 2024 campaign raised over $18 million, according to campaign finance reports filed over the weekend.
In the first 24 hours after Trump was indicted by ‘corrupt’ Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, the campaign raised a total of $4 million.
Trump has raised over $34 million this year in total, his campaign confirmed.
As Just The News reports:
Trump began fundraising off the news of his indictment almost immediately. After being indicted in a case related to alleged hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, Trump appealed to supporters for their backing, framing himself as being unfairly persecuted.
The latest fundraising numbers come as Trump has separated himself as the frontrunner for the GOP’s nomination in 2024 amongst a growing field of Republican candidates.
While former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson have launched their campaigns, Trump has remained comfortably atop early polling.
Other potential GOP primary contenders, like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence, have yet to announce whether they will run for president or not. But it is widely believed that DeSantis will jump into the race in the coming months.
It appears the media, the Democrats, and their left-wing cohorts have failed to derail Trump, only helping him gain more popularity and contributions.
Amongst numerous shady tactics to hurt Trump, there were a few that stood out.
As we reported earlier this month, the media even went as far as blurring out the “TEXT TRUMP AT 88022” during an ABC News broadcast of Trump’s speech at Mar-a-Lago.
Obviously, that didn’t work, maybe because people are no longer watching establishment media drivel anymore.
Democrats were repeatedly warned that indicting Trump would backfire, but they didn’t listen.
“This incredible surge of grassroots contributions confirms that the American people see the indictment of President Trump as a disgraceful weaponization of our justice system by a Soros-funded prosecutor,” a Trump campaign press release read earlier this month.
Trump is also commanding a blistering lead over his prospective rival Ron DeSantis and declared candidates for the Republican primary, according to last week’s Morning Consult survey.
Meanwhile, Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg could also face up to five years in prison if he is found to be the source of leaking Trump’s indictment.
