The 2024 campaign of Donald Trump has enjoyed a whopping $1.5 million in contributions since he announced the possibility of his arrest last week.
As Fox News reported:
Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign confirmed to Fox News that they hauled in $1.5 million in grassroots fundraising in the three days following the former president’s warning on Saturday that he may face imminent indictment and potential arrest in connection with looming criminal charges from a district attorney in New York City.
The former president’s campaign aggressively sprang into action following Trump’s social media post, which sparked a firestorm of media attention. The team sent out a slew of fundraising emails and videos spotlighting the likely indictment from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for the former president’s alleged involvement in hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016, to keep her quiet ahead of that year’s election over her claims she had sexual encounters years earlier with Trump.
The news comes amid reports the corrupt Soros-backed DA in Manhattan, Alvin Bragg canceled the grand jury on Wednesday looking into the bogus case relating to “hush money “payment” against Trump.
“The reason for the adjournment wasn’t immediately clear. The grand jury typically meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, one of the people familiar with the matter said, and it heard from witnesses earlier this week,” Politico reported.
Since Trump blasted the ‘HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE’ amid rumors of his arrest, media reports amplified his message along with his allies and supporters.
“We are once again witnessing the complete and utter COLLAPSE of America’s justice system. But very soon, President Trump will be back in the White House to restore TRUE JUSTICE in America,” an email sent by his campaign on Monday proclaimed.
“Of course, it won’t be an easy feat. We’re going up against a nefarious system that will use every tool at its disposal to defeat us. But with support from patriots like you, we will write the greatest American comeback story in history and save our country,” it said.
It’s not just the Trump 2024 campaign enjoying a boost since news of his supposed arrest.
On Tuesday, The Daily Fetched reported that Trump saw another boost in support, according to a Morning Consult survey.
Trump now has 54 percent support, up from 52 percent last week.
Meanwhile, Trump’s potential competitor Ron DeSantis dropped two points from 28 percent to 26 percent.
