The unhinged hosts of ABC’s “The View” discussed the likelihood of the 2024 presidential election between former president Donald Trump and Joe Biden, with a potential debate this year.
The cohosts offered a series of suggestions regarding debates, with one host calling for Trump to be censored in real-time.
Meanwhile, cohost Whoopi Goldberg said she wished Hillary Clinton had kicked Trump in the crotch during the 2016 debate.

While Haines said that she would normally favor debates because they are “good for democracy,” she said Trump would need to be placed in an isolation booth and fact-checked in real time.
Haines said that unless moderators are given the power to cut off the mics after a certain amount of time , Trump would win the debate because “he overtalks, gaslights, and everything else.”
Goldberg interjected, saying she wished Clinton had taken the opportunity to kick Trump during one of the 2016 debates:
“She should have kicked her foot backwards and hit him where it hurts.”
Meanwhile, Cohost Joy Behar admitted that Biden might not be up to the task.

Haines added that Biden was the one who had the most to lose, arguing Trump’s base would likely vote for him no matter what happened on the debate stage.
She continued by saying that voters may not be sure about Biden if he failed to deliver a strong performance, which would be highly likely.
“Biden can lose, and he can lose in a debate,” she said.
“Trump will not … Biden makes one mistake, and the people that are undecided are out,” she added.
