President Joe Biden faced backlash after recently announcing $100 million in aid for Gaza and the West Bank during his trip to Israel.
In a post on X, Biden claimed there will be “mechanisms in place” so the $100 Million in aid for Gaza reaches those in need — not Hamas or terrorist groups.”
However, Republicans said the aid would fall directly into the hands of terrorists.
“Aid to the Gaza Strip is what Biden is prioritizing today? This aid will of course be commandeered by Hamas. No taxpayer dollars should be sent to Gaza. Stop funding jihad!” tweeted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

He might as well have announced $100 million in aid to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Earlier this month, Hamas invaded Israel, murdered children, and took hostages.
The news comes after reports of a massive blast rocked a Gaza City hospital on Tuesday, killing hundreds of people.
Hamas blamed Israel for the airstrike, but the Israeli military said other Palestinian militants misfired the rocket.
At least 500 people were killed.
