Former White House Chief Strategist and ‘War Room’ host, Steve Bannon, issued an ultimatum to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy urging him to “stop posturing” and take decisive action against Joe Biden.
Bannon’s remarks came in response to comments by Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, who criticized the current leadership and hinted at a potential motion to vacate the chair.
Gaetz referenced the contest for House Speaker in January, stating:
“Mr. Speaker, you are out of compliance with the agreement that allowed you to assume this role.”
Gaetz slammed McCarthy for not holding votes on balanced budgets term limits and not releasing the January 6th tapes in full.
Steve Bannon referred to the GOP meeting in which McCarthy was expected to discuss ongoing investigations against Biden.
Bannon then accused McCarthy of distracting the public with “shiny toys,” and not addressing the the issues at hand.
He said, “McCarthy exploded this morning because he sees that even the investigation is not getting him off the hook for what he did to work with Biden and the Uniparty.”

Bannon also took aim at McCarthy for not taking a more aggressive stance against the Biden administration while lambasting media outlets like Fox News for not holding leaders accountable.
He then stressed the need to “force this regime to the table and break them right now” by cutting off their access to the Federal Reserve’s printing press.
Bannon said the dire economic situation is unsustainable, warning that Biden’s policies are causing domestic and international harm.
Bannon also accused McCarthy of accepting funds from Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm, alleging the financial ties have led to the US being “sold out” to Communist China.
Referencing Gaetz’s comments, Bannon said, “Kevin McCarthy is a sad, empathetic man,” suggesting he is not up to the task.
Earlier this week, McCarthy announced he was launching the impeachment inquiry against Biden.
