Rob Reiner’s new documentary film on ‘Christian Nationalism’ took a beating at the Box Office this week after it was snubbed for being “propaganda.”
The film, entitled ‘God & Country,’ which was conveniently released in an election year, appeared to be an attempt to scare voters about Trump supporters.
According to Box Office MoJo, Reiner’s movie opened to a laughable $38,415 in February and grossed $60,464 domestically.
How much is that per theater, @robreiner? Under $2? Great job! 😂🤣

As Breitbart noted:
Basically, that’s fewer than 7,000 tickets sold in a country of 350 million. That’s fewer than 7,000 tickets sold, even after producer Rob Reiner got all kinds of free media from countless corporate media outlets. If you divide those 82 tickets per theater by 23 days, that’s an average of 3.5 tickets per day. But…
If you divide those 3.5 tickets per day into six showings a day, that works out to 3/5th of a ticket sold per showing. So you have to imagine every theater seat is empty except for one guy with no legs below the knees. Basically, a post-war Lieutenant Dan has to sit all by himself, staring at David French’s stupid face.
The film ends with footage of Trump supporters proudly bearing crosses, signs emblazoned with bible verses, and pictures of Jesus. It’s as if Reiner thinks this will scare people into not voting for Trump.
Last month, Reiner called Trump the “mouthpiece” for the Christian nationalist movement.
During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Beat,” Reiner said:
“They’re not right-wing, they’re not left-wing, they’re not anything except Donald Trump.”
He continued:
“There are very conservative Christian evangelicals, pastors, very respected people in the Christian community, that are frightened of this Christian nationalist movement.”
“They are not only frightened about it hurting democracy, but Christianity itself,” he said.
“And we show in the film that this movement was the foundation for January 6.”
“They were the moving elements that made January 6, and the insurrection happened,” he added.
“Now, we have a Speaker of the House who is an avowed Christian nationalist.”
Reiner said, “Donald Trump is more than happy to be their mouthpiece. We see this connection.”
