The recent presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump affected director Rob Reiner and actress Jane Fonda so much the latter ended up in tears while the former was reduced to screaming at the TV.
Reiner and Fonda, both high-profile TDS sufferers, watched helplessly as the man frail man they’ve been defending over the past almost four years was destroyed by President Donald Trump as the entire nation saw Biden’s unedited dementia for themselves.
People in attendance at the Hollywood debate watch party said Reiner and Fonda suffered emotional turmoil as they witnessed Biden’s disastrous performance, CNN reported.
The Los Angeles-based watch party also happened to feature Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, Pritzker, Whitmer, and Beshear.
According to people present at the watch party, Rob Reiner was uncontrollably screaming about losing, while Jane Fonda had tears in her eyes.
Over the weekend, Reiner admitted the debate was a “disaster” for Biden but still called on Americans to vote for him anyway.
“Last night’s debate was a disaster for President Biden,” Reiner wrote on X.
“But the choice is still crystal clear: We either can choose a good decent man who cares about his fellow citizens and knows how to govern, or a Convicted Felon who will destroy our Democracy. Not a tough choice.”

In an earlier post, the Hollywood filmmaker insisted American Democracy would collapse if Trump took back the White House.

Meanwhile, mega Hollywood donors have been jumping ship, telling Democrats that they will not be donating money if Biden stays in the race.
“Several major Hollywood donors for President Joe Biden have been sent into panic mode after President Joe Biden’s poor performance at Thursday night’s presidential debate,” CNN reported.
The outlet continued:
“Anonymous Hollywood donors told Variety that they had received messages and feedback from donors in the media and entertainment industry who were panicked by what they saw from Biden during the debate.”
“Donors reportedly called for Biden to ‘drop out’ or they would not be ‘giving any more money’ to the Democrat Party,” it added.
