Riley Gaines spoke out against a female cyclist who praised two biological men after they beat her in a race in Illinois.
Transgender cyclists Tessa Johnson and Evelyn Williamson competed in the race as “women,” finishing first and second.
Coming in third place was Kristin Chalmers, who refrained from calling out the absurdity of being beaten by two biological males, and instead praised them.
A picture of Johnson, Williamson, and Chalmer standing together on the podium at the award ceremony went viral.

Any woman who concedes and doesn't compete, I will personally pay them the prize money they're missing out on. Stop participating in the farce pic.twitter.com/MbFc2av95y
Gaines responded by offering to cover the prize money to any female athlete refusing to compete against biological males.
But Chalmers refused, and signed a letter of support for the two men, arguing they are marginalized and the “most vulnerable within our community.”
Chalmers went on to declare that “trans women are women.”
“We refuse to be falsely presented as victims in a manufactured controversy driven to further alienate and marginalize those most vulnerable within our community, in service of rampant and harmful anti-LGBTQ+ legislation,” the letter read, according to NBC.
“We speak for ourselves: inclusion makes our sport and community stronger. Everyone is welcome here. Trans women are women.”
Gaines then blasted Chalmers, calling her a “traitor to women.”
In a statement to Fox News, Gaines said:
“Why is it so often women applauding their own erasure?”
“Chalmers may claim she’s fine losing to men, but female athletes like her don’t have the right to willingly surrender the integrity of competition for everyone.”
“The majority of female athletes believe women deserve respect and fair competition.”
“She is a traitor to ethical and fair sport. And she’s a traitor to women.”
Gaines pointed out that Chalmers was supporting her demise and also that of female athletes as a whole, who allow themselves to be beaten unfairly by biological males.
The result? There are fewer awards, prize money, and scholarships for women who work extremely hard to compete in such races.
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Gaines also highlighted how female athletes were forced to change in the same dressing room in front of a “six-foot, fully intact naked male.”
“And as I’ve testified previously, we were not forewarned of this arrangement.,” she said.
“We were not asked for our consent and we did not give our consent to this exposure and to be exploited.”
