Retired US Army colonel and government official, Douglas Abbott, told Tucker Carlson that the regional conflict with Israel is a precursor to a major war with Iran, which would ultimately turn into WW3.
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Iran has issued a number of threats against the US after its proxy army, Hamas, launched a terror attack on Israel.
Iranian proxies have already attacked US troops in Syria and Iraq.
“We don’t have the means to rapidly ship a large force of 80 to 100,000 troops on the ground into the region, which means that we’re reliant on special forces and right now 2000 marines and perhaps 2000 special forces and special operations forces,” Douglas Abbott said.
“That’s not going to make much of a dent. And as we’ve seen quite recently, within the last 24 hours or so, some of our Special Ops forces and Israeli Special Ops forces went into Gaza to reconnoiter to plan for where they might want to go to free hostages and make an impact,” he said.
“And they were shot to pieces and took heavy losses, as I understand it. I think that’s where we’re headed and I don’t see that as a win for Israel in any way, shape or form.”

Carlson asked the the retired US Army colonel said about concerns about terrorism in the US in the wake of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the threat of WW3.
“I think these concerns are very, very valid,” Macgregor replied.
“We’ve had an open border now for the last two and a half years, but we’ve had an illegal migration problem for the last three-plus decades,” he said.
“We don’t know who is in the country. We really don’t,” Macgregor continued.
“No one in Homeland Security can tell you who is here,” Macgregor added.
“So we don’t know who is here, but we do know that Hamas as well as Hezbollah have positions in Mexico.”
“Of the two, Hezbollah is much stronger, much larger, and much better equipped and financed.”
“So we have to expect that once Hezbollah is in the war and we are against them and Iran, that much of our infrastructure will be at risk.”
“Something as bad or potentially even worse than 9/11 could happen here,” Macgregor added.
If the ongoing tension in the Middle East wasn’t bad enough, Joe Biden has also threatened China, an ally of Iran, with war in order to defend the Philippines.

Biden’s recent statement has now signaled a massive escalation on the part of the United States.
During a White House press conference, Biden pledged military support to defend the Philippines, threatening to go to war with China.
“Just this past week, the [People’s Republic of China] vessels acted as dangerously and unlawfully as our Philippine friends conducted a routine resupply mission within their own exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea,” said Biden.
“I want to be clear. I want to be very clear. The United States’ defense commitment to the Philippines is ironclad. Any attack on the Filipino aircraft, vessels, or armed forces will invoke our mutual defense treaty with the Philippines,” he said.
