Following Rep. Matt Gaetz’s “present” vote, which caused Kevin McCarthy to lose a 14th bid for speaker, Rep. Mike Rogers lost his cool. He lunged at Gaetz before being physically restrained, with a fellow representative even putting his hand over his face.

The Republican lawmaker from Alabama recently threatened Republicans holding out against McCarthy they would be stripped of committee assignments.

There was more drama after Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) reportedly tried to place Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) on a live phone call with President Donald J. Trump just moments after Rosendale voted against Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for speaker of the House on the unsuccessful 14th ballot.
