Republican Senator Rand Paul said there is no question that former White House chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci belongs in jail.
“And do you believe that Anthony Fauci belongs in jail?” Fox News host Sean Hannity asked Paul.
“Without question,” the Senator responded.
Paul has gone after Fauci on several occasions, ranging from the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic to vaccinations.
The Senator also argued that Fauci “lied to Congress” on the origins of the COVID virus.
“We now have proof in Anthony Fauci’s own words, we have his emails,” Paul said in his interview with Hannity.
“In public he’s saying, ‘Oh, if you say it came from the lab, you’re a conspiracy theorist, you’re crazy, it’s a fringe theory,'” he continued.
“But in private, he’s saying … ‘We’re very concerned because the virus appears to be manipulated. And we’re also very concerned because we know they’re doing gain of function research in Wuhan.'”
Paul said that is why he referred him to Attorney General Merrick Garland, whom he referred to as “the most partisan attorney general” in US political history.
He accused Garland of avoiding his responsibility to protect Fauci.
Paul said Fauci lied during his testimony before Congress.
The Senator said he initially gave Fauci the benefit of the doubt in 2020, deeming Fauci a “disinterested public health figure.”
But after hearings and further interactions, Paul concluded Fauci was a “dishonest” individual who had tried to cover up his initial response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Paul also highlighted evidence in an email featuring Fauci summarizing a phone call in early 2020.
“This is when they’re just beginning to look into the pandemic,” Paul said.
“And in that email, he basically says, ‘Yes, we’re suspicious that this could be a manipulated virus because it came from a lab in Wuhan, where they do gain of function research,’ and he describes the research,” Paul added.
Fauci responded to calls for his prosecution for the handling of the COVID-19 outbreak, saying, “[t] here’s no response to that craziness.”
“I mean, prosecute me for what? What are they talking about?” Fauci said.
“I mean, I wish I could figure out what the heck they were talking about. I think they’re just going off the deep end,” Fauci added.
“It doesn’t make any sense to say something like that, and it actually is irresponsible.”
Rand Paul also teased that the upcoming book, “Deception: The Great Covid Cover-Up,” would reveal more about Facui and action could be taken.
“We deserve to know what happened,” he said.
“I think the book will go a long way to convincing the rest of America that this man was a traitor to his country,” Paul later added about Fauci.
Last month, The Daily Fetched reported that Fauci was snuck into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) headquarters in order to influence the COVID-19 virus origins findings.
The former chief medical advisor allegedly embarked upon a massive cover-up attempt for the notorious EcoHealth Alliance, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Wuhan Lab.
The National Pulse reported that Fauci is now said to have been “escorted into Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters–without a record of entry and participated in the analysis to ‘influence’ the Agency’s review” of COVID-19.
Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), the head of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, said he had “concerning information” obtained by his panel in a letter sent to the inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services.
“The information provided suggests that Dr. Fauci was escorted into Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters — without a record of entry — and participated in the analysis to ‘influence’ the Agency’s review,” Wenstrup said.
“Our goal is to ensure the scientific investigative process regarding the origins of COVID-19 was fair, impartial, and free of alternative influence,” he added.
