Undercover footage captured by a pro-life advocate shows Planned Parenthood executives openly discussing the sale of late-term fetus body parts.
David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) and others captured the footage after disguising themselves as laboratory wholesalers at the National Abortion Federation’s commercial trade show, the New York Post reported.
Daleiden was previously investigated by then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris in 2015 for alleged “criminal activity.”
They secretly recorded conversations with Dr. Ann Schutt-Ainé, the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, and Tram Nguyen, RN, the branch’s vice president of abortion access.
Planned Parenthood claimed that the video was of the employees discussing a non-profit donation of fetal tissue for research.
However, Daleiden said the newly released footage proves that Planned Parenthood’s statements were false, which shows employees engaging in illegal activity.

“Schutt-Ainé and Nguyen described dismembering the fetuses after delivery to get around possible violations of the federal partial-birth abortion law,” Daleiden told the outlet.
In one recorded conversation, an undercover advocate told Nguyen and Schutt-Ainé that “liver is in short demand” and discussed the competitive market for fetal organs and cells, emphasizing buyer demand and potential profitability.
“You told me about the proposition, and so now every time I do a D&E [dilation and evacuation abortion], I’m like, ‘Oh, there’s some lungs, there’s some kidneys,'” Schutt-Ainé told Nguyen in the video.
Nguyen then apologizes to Daleiden for showing him a dismembered fetus, explaining that aborted fetuses were occasionally delivered with one missing limb.
“We just had to hurry up, whereas other days it’s more intact, where it’s like maybe only like an arm that’s disarticulated,” she said.
“I’m like, ‘Yeah, I have like a leg for you!’ I’m like, oh sht, if other people were to hear me, they’d be like, ‘You are fcking evil,'” Nguyen later said in the video.
In another conversation, Daleiden asked Schutt-Ainé and Nguyen how they received the most intact late-term aborted fetuses for collecting their organs.
“A lot of it has to do with dilation of the mother’s cervix, the opening to the uterus,” Schutt-Ainé told Daleiden.
“Because when you have good dilation, a cervix that’s either well-dilated and/or just softer and more pliable, then as you bring the fetus down, you can get more of it out before disarticulation occurs.”
Schutt-Ainé explained it could take three or four “passes” using the forceps to remove the fetus from the birth canal.
“There are some that are like, I need you to make one more pass, one more pass,” Nguyen added.
Schutt-Ainé said that this was to “avoid PBA,” referring to the federal partial-birth abortion law.
“Yeah, I was like, ‘Uh, getting a little bit too close!'” Nguyen said as a follow-up.
