CNN accused the creators of the child trafficking film “Sound of Freedom” of “catering to conspiracy theorists” after its massive success at the box office this week.
Despite the film being based on a true story of child sex trafficking, the leftist media are still hellbent on smearing the movie and its star, Jim Caviezel, as “QAnon” conspiracy theories.
Liberal outlets like the Guardian and Rolling Stone jumped to smear the film as a “far right” conspiracy film.
Notably, outlets like CNN attacking Sound of Freedom are the same ones who defended the film “Cuties,” which sexualized children.
During a discussion about the film between CNN host Abby Phillip and Mike Rothschild, it was suggested some think the movie “caters to QAnon conspiracy theorists.”
The pair also attacked Jim Caviezel, saying he “embraced” QAnon terms and concepts.
However, they were forced to admit that sex trafficking was a real issue but accused the movie of being “created out of moral panics.”
“These films are created out of moral panics. They’re created out of bogus statistics. They’re created out of fear. And with something like Sound of Freedom, it specifically is looking at QAnon concepts of these child trafficking rings that are run by the high-level elites and only people like Tim Ballard and only people like Jim Caviezel, and by extension, only people like the ticket buyer can help bring these trafficking rings down,” Mike Rothschild said.
“So, there’s a very participatory element. You’re not just going to see a movie; you’re just killing two hours on a hot day. You are helping bring down these pedophile rings and save children. Now, it’s not true, but it’s a very comforting, and it’s a very warm feeling to have,” he added.

This attack on the film is bizarre, to say the least. The fact that Rothschild suggests that the “QAnon” label should be enough to remove the film’s credibility signals a smear campaign is underway.
Maybe CNN needs to look at its own problems since they also appear to have a “pedophile problem “in its staff, as Tucker Carlson noted in 2021.
“As of today, there are more accused pedophiles at CNN than Americans who have died of the so-called Omicron variant that is supposed to be so deadly,” Carlson said.

Just last month, a former CNN producer who was fired from the network before being charged with molesting a 9-year-old girl was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
In December, John Griffin, 45, pleaded guilty to using interstate commerce to entice and coerce the Girl to engage in sexual activity.
The child sex offender worked at CNN for approximately eight years.
