Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán warned against the consequences of continuing the war in Ukraine, arguing Russia cannot be defeated because it is a nuclear power.
Orbán stressed the need for peace and called to end the war to prevent further losses of life.

The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, echoed Orbán’s message.
“If we imagine that the Ukrainian offensive with NATO support was successful and they took part of our territory, we would have to resort to the use of nuclear weapons under the rules of the decree of the Russian President of 2 June 2020,” the former president said on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev appeared to be referring to the 2020 Russian nuclear doctrine, which states that in the vent of threats to the existence of the Russian nation, nuclear weapons could be used to stop the attack from a country like Ukraine.
The warning came after drone attacks on Moscow’s financial district over the weekend.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he’s ready to “return” the war to Russia’s own territory.
Earlier this year, Orbán warned globalist leaders the people would eventually rise up and demand new governments.
Orbán also recalled the pro-peace Presidency of Donald Trump and looked forward to his return in 2024.
“Can Hungary afford to remain on the side of peace in such circumstances, in a way that is directly opposed to that of our allies?”, Orbán asked.
“Of course, we can, because Hungary is an independent, free, and sovereign state, “Orbán said, adding that neutrality is “the only right thing” to do.
