NBC reporter Ben Collins told viewers that the dramatic fall President Joe Biden took during the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony Thursday was “not important” enough to discuss.
As The Daily Fetched reported on Biden’s fall:
Joe Biden took a massive fall after delivering a commencement speech at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
Biden, 80, landed on his right hip after attempting to jog across the stage.
Biden appeared to trip “on a black sandbag on the stage,” according to the White House pool report.

But Collins did not want Biden’s fall to dominate the news cycle.
“Welp, Joe Biden just fell down,” the NBC reported tweeted after Joe Biden took the fall.
“Say goodbye to reading anything important on this site for the next 72 hours.”
Of course, the media’s claim that Biden’s fall was “not important” is only because it happened to Biden, not Trump.
You may recall a New York Times article from 2020 when Trump took his time to walk down a ramp at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and was supposedly “having trouble bringing a glass of water to his mouth during a speech there.”
Yes, NYT and other media outlets ran with this story.
It was a non story.
Trump “hesitantly” walked down a ramp one step at a time after he delivered an address to graduating cadets at the New York-based academy, the outlet reported at the time, insinuating he was having “health problems.”
Trump reacted the New York Times article, writing at the time:
“The ramp that I descended after my West Point Commencement speech was very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery,” Mr. Trump wrote.
“The last thing I was going to do is ‘fall’ for the Fake News to have fun with. Final ten feet, I ran down to level ground. Momentum!”
When Biden suffers a dramatic fall, the media wants us to believe it’s unimportant. When Trump hesitantly walks down a ramp, all hell breaks loose!
The media bias is plain to see.
