Alex Soros, the heir to George Soros’s leftwing non-profit empire, met with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Capitol Hill Thursday.
Soros shared a photo of him and Pelosi standing together inside the office.
“Always great to see the American hero that is @SpeakerPelosi!” Soros posted online.
It’s unclear what Alex Soros and Nancy Pelosi discussed.
However, the pair’s meeting came just days before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to visit Capitol Hill.
Soros is reportedly heavily focused on the war in Ukraine and having “daily contact” with the Soros Foundation in Ukraine.
The director of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Mark Leonard, told the Washington Post that the war in Ukraine is a key focus for the younger Soros.
Alex Soros is “in daily contact with the Soros Foundation in Ukraine, talking to different governments about their policy towards Ukraine,” Leonard said.
According to the latest White House visitor logs, Alex Soros has had 20 meetings at President Joe Biden’s White House.
As The Daily Fetched reported, the younger Soros has visited the Biden White House 15 times, met with officials 20 times, and attended a state dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron with Biden in attendance.

Earlier this month, Alex Soros declared his primary mission in 2024 is defeating MAGA and preventing Donald Trump from winning the White House.
“I believe a MAGA-style Republican victory in next year’s US presidential election could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the US. Such an outcome will imperil European unity and undermine the progress achieved on many fronts in response to the war in Ukraine,” Alex Soros wrote in an op-ed in Politico on the 2024 election.
