Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) again froze up when answering a simple question from reporters during a press conference in Kentucky.
A spokesperson for McConnell claimed, “Leader McConnell felt momentarily lightheaded and paused during his press conference today.”
The incident, which marks the second time McConnell glitched out, sparked fresh concerns about age limits on government officials.

A reporter asked, “What are your thoughts on running for re-election?”
“What’re my thoughts about what?” the GOP leader asked, appearing confused.
“What are your thoughts on running for re-election?” a reporter asked McConnell.
“What’re my thoughts about what?” the GOP leader repeated.
“What are your thoughts on running for re-election in 2026?” the reporter asked.
Then McConnell stared blankly for 10 seconds before an aide appeared beside him and asked, “Did you hear the question, Senator? Running for re-election in 2026?”
“I’m okay,” he told the aide.
The aide asked the reporters: “Does anybody else have any questions? Please speak up,”

An aide later reported, “While he feels fine, as a prudential measure, the Leader will be consulting a physician prior to his next event.”
During a news conference last month, The aging GOP lawmaker froze for about 30 seconds.
