Conservative podcast host Megyn Kelly fired back at gun control advocates following the Nashville school shooting in which three children and three adults were shot and killed.
Joe Biden and Democrats used the incident to push for further gun control while politicizing the tragedy.
“Those children should all be with us still. … Everybody thinks somehow the Second Amendment is absolute!” Biden said.
“You’re not allowed to go out and own an automatic weapon. You’re not allowed to own a machine gun. You’re not allowed to own a flamethrower. You’re not allowed to own so many other things. Why in God’s name do we allow these weapons in our streets and at our schools? … I want you to know who isn’t doing it [supporting gun control], who isn’t helping, to put pressure on them,” Biden added.
Megyn Kelly did not hold back on gun control advocates during her SiriusXM radio program.
“Three nine-year-olds were shot down yesterday by one sick person in addition to the three school administrators,” she began.
“There’s something wrong with our society, and I for one am f***ing sick of the knee jerk — ‘It’s the guns. Get the guns,'” she declared.
“We have 330 million guns, maybe over 400 million by some counts in America. They’re not going away. We could do an assault weapons ban tomorrow. They’re not going away. All right? We have to take a serious, honest look at what’s wrong with us,” Kelly continued.
“We can take a look at what’s going on in the case of this particular woman — trans person, she’s a biological woman — and figure out what made this person crack,” she surmised.
“But we go through this every time. We try to figure out the issues that led to this person to do it or that person to do it, and then we change nothing. Okay? We change nothing,”s he added.
“And I realize it’s a big country and it’s a free country and you’re never gonna be able to stop them all,” she admitted.
“But that shouldn’t lead to just the constant shoulder shrugs. I for one, think we really need to take a hard look at, yes, mental health, and also institutionalization. Institutionalization. We need to make it easier to civilly commit people who are showing signs, red flags, that they may be the next school shooter,” Kelly said.
“I don’t know whether they were present in this case; the police haven’t released that; we’ll find out more in the days to come,” she concluded.

Megan is 100% correct. Why were these institutions closed? The cities and towns are overrun with mentally ill people who are endangering everyone, including themselves. This needs to be top priority and to h**l with the leftists who object. The only “rights” that are denied now are those of the innocent, peaceful citizenry who are being terrorized by this diverse group of sick creatures.
Megan is right on this issue; I think it’s our government that is the problem and we as a people, when I was a kid never had these problems because we did not have this overwhelming Government.
Hey, I love action films, BUT could the violence day after day, night after night on our TV and in our theaters need to be considered a problem?
