Florida Republican Representative Matt Gaetz tore in FBI Director Chris Wray during his Wednesday hearing before the House Judiciary Committee.
Gaetz fired questions at Wray about the alleged two-tiered justice system in America and the weaponization of federal law enforcement against conservatives.
Gaetz started his questioning with an allegation that Hunter Biden sent a WhatsApp message demanding money from a Chinese business contact while invoking his father.
“Sounds like a shakedown, doesn’t it, Director?” Matt Gaetz asked Chris Wray.
“I’m not going to get into commenting on that,” Wray replied.
Gaetz responded, “You seem deeply uncurious about it, don’t you? Almost suspiciously uncurious. Are you protecting the Bidens?”
“Absolutely not,” Wray said.
Gaetz fired back, “You won’t answer the question about whether or not that’s a shakedown, and everybody knows why you won’t answer it. Because to the millions of people who will see this, they know it is, and your inability to acknowledge that is deeply revealing about you.”
Gaetz went on to cast perjury accusations at Wray before declaring, “The FBI has broken so bad that people can go and engage in queries that when you come before the Congress to answer questions, you’re, like, you’re blissfully ignorant” about the FBI supposedly “using the FISA process as their creepy personal snoop machine.”
“You preside over the FBI that has the lowest level of trust in the FBI’s history. People trusted the FBI more when J. Edgar Hoover was running the place than when you are, and the reason is because you don’t give straight answers,” Gaetz continued.
“You give answers that later a court deems aren’t true, and then at the end of the day, you won’t criticize an obvious shakedown when it is directly in front of us, and it appears you’re whitewashing the conduct of corrupt people,” Gaetz declared.

More damning emails have come to light that implicates Hunter Biden to several senior aides currently working for the administration under Joe Biden.
On Monday, Fox News reported, “Nearly a dozen current and former officials serving in the White House and Biden administration, including the president’s national security adviser and the secretary of state, have extensive ties to Hunter Biden, who is accused by Republicans of selling access to his father, dating back over a decade.”

Hunter Biden faces allegations of two misdemeanor tax violations and a felony gun charge.
Fox News noted that Hunter Biden and Jake Sullivan, President Biden’s national security adviser, were affiliated with the liberal foreign policy think tank, the Truman National Security Project, for approximately two years.
Their association ended when Sullivan joined Biden’s campaign in 2020.
They both served on the board of the Washington-based nonprofit between 2017 and 2019. Hunter began his tenure on the board in 2012.
At the same time, Hunter held positions on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and Chinese private equity fund BHR Partners.
An ongoing federal investigation into Hunter’s foreign business activities was initiated in 2018

Former White House official Mike McCormick recently leveled accusations against Sullivan, claiming that he was a “conspirator” involved in a purported “kickback scheme” within the Biden family concerning Ukraine during Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Fox reported.
Sullivan has denied the allegations.
According to emails reviewed and verified by the outlet, Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Hunter Biden at the State Department in July 2015. At that time, Blinken served as the deputy secretary of state in the Obama-Biden administration, while Hunter was a member of Burisma’s board.
Hunter emailed Blinken in late May 2015, asking: “Have a few minutes next week to grab a cup of coffee? I know you are impossibly busy, but I would like to get your advice on a couple of things.” The meeting took place within a couple of months.
Blinken responded, “Absolutely,” and Hunter then forwarded Blinken’s complete email response to Devon Archer, another member of Burisma’s board and his business partner.
But the meeting was ultimately canceled because Hunter’s older brother, Beau Biden, was being admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland due to a recurrence of brain cancer before he died on May 30, 2015.
Under two months later, Blinken and Hunter met, prompting Blinken to send a follow-up email saying it was “great to see” Hunter and “catch up.”
