A California man has been arrested for possessing more than 900 child porn images after his wife discovered a camera hidden in their bathroom.
Ryan Rovito, 34, was confronted by his wife after she found the camera hidden away in their home’s guest bathroom.
Rovito said he knew about the camera but said he would throw it away.
However, his wife seized it and the hard drive it was connected to.
His wife contacted police over concerns he recorded their young children using the bathroom camera.
Police later obtained a search warrant for the devices and the hidden bathroom camera finding 900 images of child porn following a preliminary forensic analysis, Fox News reported.
Videos showed children and adults using the bathrooms, appearing to be unaware that they were being recorded, according to police.
Rovito was arrested late during a traffic stop.
He was then charged with possession of child pornography and the surreptitious recording of an identifiable person who was undressed.
