The majority of Americans believe more U.S. churches are abandoning their core Christian beliefs in favor of woke leftist ideology, according to a recent Rassmussen poll.
While over 75 percent of the poll’s respondents said religious faith is important, those who attend services at least weekly were more likely to agree that churches are abandoning their core traditional beliefs.
The view that the church is losing its Christian traditions is shared by 52 percent of evangelical Christians, 34 percent of Catholics, 30 percent of Protestants, and 41 percent of Jews, according to the poll.
Their views do not without substantiation, however, given the church is increasingly embracing LGBTQ and trans ideology.
In 2021, the Christianity Daily reported St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square in Chicago, Illinois, recently hosted a “drag queen prayer time” for children led by a biologically male preacher named Aaron Musser, who dressed as a woman during the Sunday service.
The preacher showed children what made him feel “joyful” as he was dressed in drag as a “dress rehearsal” for the joy he claimed he will feel when Jesus Christ returns.

It’s not just in the U.S.; churches in the U.K. are also hellbent on embracing woke ideology.
‘Woke’ Church of England Launches Project to Make GOD Gender-Neutral
The above headline says it all.
Earlier this year, The Daily Fetched reported that the Church of England launched its new project that will use more gender-neutral language to describe God to be more ‘inclusive.’
The project “on gendered language” will begin later this year and ban phrases such as “Our Father” in favor of neutral or feminine alternatives.
The new ‘woke’ campaign began when Rev Joanna Stobart asked Church leaders to “develop more inclusive language in our authorized liturgy.”
Stobart asked bishops “to provide more options for those who wish to use authorized liturgy and speak of God in a non-gendered way, particularly in authorized absolutions where many of the prayers offered for use refer to God using male pronouns.”
Last year, the Saint David of Wales Episcopal Church in Portland made changes like putting up signs that say anyone can use any bathroom, including pronouns on name tags, and preaching to “siblings in Christ” rather than brothers and sisters.
Its fair to say the church has already lost its way.

All one needs to do is LISTEN to the clergy to see this is true. Heck…it starts with the Pope!
