White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Joe Biden will not take a cognitive test despite the damning DOJ report outlining his mental decline.
Biden held a disastrous presser Thursday after the damning review found he had a failing memory and ‘diminished faculties.’
When reporters asked KJP about the test on Monday, they claimed it wasn’t necessary and quoted White House Physician Dr Kevin O’Connor.
“The president proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks, by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people – whether it’s domestic or it’s national security,” she said.
“That is how Dr. O’Connor sees it, and that is how I’m going to leave it,” she continued.
She insisted that Biden is a sharper version of the one seen in his media appearances.
“When we have meetings with him and his staff he is constantly pushing us, trying to get more information, and so that has been my experience with this president,” she said.
Jean-Pierre said she considers Biden a mentor and says the president remains ‘sharp’ and ‘on top of things.’

Reporters began questioning Biden’s mental acuity after Special Counsel Robert Hur released a report describing the president as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
The report read:
“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
“Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt.”
“It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him – by then a former president well into his eighties – of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
Last week, the Hur Special Counsel referred to Biden as an “elderly man with poor memory” in his report.
As we reported last week, Biden lost his temper after Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned his cognitive abilities as he struggled to respond to the special counsel report, which concluded he suffers from poor memory.
