“The View” co-host Joy Behar has warned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is “very dangerous” and a “threat” to President Joe Biden and could potentially ruin his chances in the presidential election.
A clip from Kennedy’s interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett was played, in which he argued that Biden is a more serious threat to democracy than Trump.
“I can make the argument that President Biden is the much worse threat to democracy, and the reason for that is President Biden is the first candidate in history – the first president in history that has used the federal agencies to censor political speech, so to censor his opponent,” he said.
Kennedy had his Instagram account banned after sharing claims regarding the
COVID-19 vaccine. He later claimed Biden pressured the social media platform to ban him.
Behar went after him over those comments, arguing:
“First of all, he’s a threat, I think more to Biden, just because of his name. That people out there, they’re not really looking into things. I think they think, ‘Oh Kennedy, Democrat, yeah I’ll vote for him.'”
“Meanwhile, he is a conspiracy theorist, anti-science. His whole family is voting for Biden and this type of dangerous rhetoric that Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than the man who wanted to throw over the government, overthrow the government,” she continued.
Co-host Sara Haines argued that Kennedy was “wrong in what he was saying,” adding he should be mad at Instagram, not Biden.

“He’s also wrong in what he’s saying. So he’s talking about the First Amendment, it being the most important one, and that someone’s squashing speech on social media, but President Biden is not responsible for private social media companies.”
“The First Amendment is for the government, it does not apply, necessarily, to private companies who decide to ban you,” Haines argued.
Behar then interjected, calling RFK Jr. a “liar.”
Behar previously suggested RFK would “destroy the election” and take votes from Biden, handing a victory to Trump.
“Someone has to ask him why are you doing this?” she said.
“Why do you want to destroy the election and hand it to Trump if possible?” Behar said, per Fox News.
“He’s a Kennedy. His forefathers are rolling over in their graves. His own family is telling him — we already have one clown in the race. Do we need two of them?”
Meanwhile, Democrats in recent weeks have expressed concern about Kennedy running in the election, arguing it would dilute the vote for Biden.
“All he can do is take away votes from President Biden and make it easier for Donald Trump to win. And we simply can’t afford to let that happen,” said Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis.
Last month, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) said there is “no doubt” that presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will help Donald Trump by bleeding votes from Democrats.
“Having that third party candidate on the ballot, no matter the choice for vice president, is gonna bleed votes from the Democrats,” Scott told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling.
RFK Jr ignited criticism this week after announcing leftist Nicole Shanahan as his running mate, calling her the daughter of immigrants who realized the American dream.
Shanahan has donated money to a super PAC backing Kennedy and is a major donor to progressive politicians.
Charlie Kirk highlighted Shanahan’s murky past in a post on X:
“RFK’s VP choice, Nicole Shanahan, is a six-figure donor to… George Gascon, the pro-crime, Soros-backed prosecutor who helped wreck San Francisco and is currently wrecking LA.”
“She also spent big on Measure J, a Los Angeles measure to reroute spending from law enforcement and prisons to “social services” and “mental health treatment” — in other words, not putting criminals and dangerous psychos behind bars. This is a far-left pick by RFK, who is apparently looking to shore up his progressive bona fides.”
“Major red flag for commonsense independents and centrist voters who are also sick of rising crime but intrigued by his campaign.”
