‘The View’ co-host Joy Behar reacted angrily when a fellow panelist predicted that former President Donald Trump would win the 2024 election.
The co-hosts had a clash of opinions while discussing Trump’s removal from the Colorado and Maine ballots.
Sara Haines said the decision of Trump being on the ballot should rest with the voters, not the courts.
“I don’t think the Supreme Court’s going to hold this. I think they’re going to overturn it and it won’t just be the originalists. I bet it’s a 9-0 vote… I think they should leave it to the voters,” she said.
However, Haines’ opinion angered Behar, who quickly responded, “So what are you saying?” and “Oh no.”

The Supreme Court will soon hear disputes over Trump’s alleged role in the January 6, 2021, breach on the U.S. Capitol.
The former president recently appealed against Colorado’s decision to disqualify him from appearing on the state’s primary ballot.
The ruling was part of a broader effort to challenge Trump’s eligibility to run for office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which states that anyone engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” is barred from holding federal office.
So far, Colorado and Maine are the only states that have barred Trump from their ballots.
The Supreme Court’s handling of Trump’s appeal could set a precedent for other states.
Meanwhile, Special Counsel Jack Smith has urged the justices to rule on Trump’s claim that he cannot be prosecuted for attempting to overturn his 2020 election results.
Not long after the initial ruling, Behar wrote on Twitter:
“Joe, the ballot box can’t compete with the third party candidates who will take votes from Joe Biden. And let us not forget the electoral college. The law must defeat him.”

Joe Walsh noted that Trump hadn’t been formally convicted, questioning the validity of using such a basis to bar him from office.
“The best and ONLY way to defeat Trump is at the ballot box, not to kick him off the ballot,” Walsh wrote. “
Defeat him at the ballot box. That’s what’s best for the country.”
