Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri has shared shocking new details about the catastrophic failures of the Secret Service, which led to the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month.
Appearing on the Jesse Watters show on FOX News on Monday, Hawley revealed that all of his new information came to him from whistleblowers within the Secret Service.
Hawley noted that these brave agency whistleblowers came forward because they were terrified that this would happen again.
As of writing, none of the issues within the Secret Service have been resolved, and no one has been fired.

Nobody was fired. The lead site agent responsible for the Trump security disaster continues to oversee security for political events.
Whistleblowers tell Sen. Josh Hawley that she, the lead site agent, was not enforcing normal security protocols and describe her as “inexperienced and incompetent.”
There was a failure to check IDs at the event, allowing unchecked access to secure areas.
Additionally, Homeland Security agents, many of whom had never worked a rally before, were primarily responsible for security instead of experienced Secret Service agents.
The Secret Service snipers communicated via text message without Wi-Fi, and the Secret Service itself was in a separate command center, far from the action.
Just last week, we reported that a Texas woman with a loaded firearm made threats against Trump being arrested by police in Washington D.C.
Christina Montoya was arrested after traveling to the nation’s capital.
The Secret Service was first made aware of the women threats before law enforcement was alerted, according to a statement from the D.C. Metropolitan Police.
“Through the detectives’ investigation, 41-year-old Christina Montoya of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested and charged with carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm, and threats against a former president,” police said in a statement.
