President Joe Biden claimed in an interview that his “epiphany” on same gay marriage came in the 1950s when he was senior in high school.
Sleepy Joe recalled seeing two “well-dressed men in suits” kissing before his father explain the men loved each other.
However, there is a problem with Joe Biden‘s claims.
Biden did not endorse gay marriage until he was seeking a second term as vice president, six months before his 70th birthday, after voting to van the practive and allow states to decline
Biden told interviewer on The Daily Show he had an “epiphany” over 60 years, depsite hsiorical facts prving otherwise.
“I hadn’t thought much about it, to tell you the truth,” Biden said.
“I was a senior in high school. And my dad was dropping me off, and I remember I was about to get out of the car and I looked to my right and two well-dressed men in suits kissed each other. I mean they gave each other a kiss. One looked like he headed to one building, and one headed to the Hercules Corporation building,” Biden added.
“And I’ll never forget, I turned and looked at my dad. He said, ‘Joey, it is simple, they love each other. It is simple.’ I’m not joking. It’s simple, they love each other. It’s never been, it’s just that simple. It doesn’t matter whether it is a same-sex or a heterosexual couple, they should be able to be married,” Biden continued.
Biden’s whopper was not questioned by the establishment media.
Richard Grenell, a gay conservative who served as acting director of national intelligence under former President Donald Trump pointed out the obvious quation: Why did Biden call gay people a national security threat as Senator, and why id he campaign agaisnt gay mariiage as VP?
As The Washington Examiner points outs, Biden was a senior in high school in 1961. His father was born in 1915. Gay sex, much less gay marriage, was not protected by the Supreme Court until 2003, reversing a previous decision handed down in 1986, when Biden was serving his third Senate term.
This is not the first time White House has tried to change Biden’s histpry om same-sex marriage.
“[T]his is something that he supports — this piece of legislation,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters last year. “And this is an issue, when it comes to marriage equality, that he has supported through — through his Senate days and as VP and now as president.”
While Biden was a candidate in 2020, he told a town hall in New Hampshire that he “didn’t have to evolve at all” on same-sex matrimony.
Biden’s continually shifts from dubious and out right lies about his past in order match public opion.
Ioronnically, Biden tries to characterizes people as extremists for the views he held for ost of his life.
“I was the first major leader holding public office to call for same-sex marriage. So I don’t know what about the past of Barack Obama and Joe Biden was so bad,” he said in an early 2020 New Hampshire Democratic debate.
