President Joe Biden told reporters on Thursday that the majority of Americans think owning a so-called “assault weapon” is a “crazy idea.”
“The majority of the American people think having assault weapons is bizarre. It’s a crazy idea,” Biden said.
Another lie from sleepy Joe.

On Monday, Biden revived his push to ban Americans from owning an assault weapon following Nashville’s deadly elementary school shooting.
“I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapon ban. It’s about time we begin to make some progress, but there’s more to learn,” Biden said at a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Summit.
The event saw Biden open his address by discussing his favorite ice cream flavor, another signal Biden had no idea what was going on given the tone of what was to be discussed.
“I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” Biden said.
Biden then called for a ban on assault weapons in the wake of the shooting.
Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities ramped up their demands for gun control.
“BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS NOW!” Jamie Lee Curtis tweeted in all caps.
“#BanAssaultWeapons We owe this to our children and our fellow human beings,” Mia Farrow wrote.
