Joe Biden faced backlash after using a derogatory term against LL Cool J and mispronouncing his name during a speech at an awards dinner on Saturday in Washington, DC.
Biden made the comments at the Congressional Black Caucus event where LL Cool J and MC Lyte received Phoenix Awards.
“Two of the great artists of our time representing the groundbreaking legacy of hip hop in America, LL Jay Cool J, uhhh…” Biden said.
Biden paused as the audience could be heard laughing.
Biden then continued:
“By the way, that boy’s got — that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs,” Biden said.

Biden’s derogatory term didn’t go unnoticed on social media.
One person responded to the clip, noting:
“The real Joe Biden. Old habits die hard.”
Another said:
“His true colors come out. Again.”
Biden mistakenly praised the Congressional Black Caucus during his remarks at a gala for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in the capital on Saturday.
The president made the gaffe while blundering on about the award recipient Sister Norma Pimental, executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley.
“I know Sister Norma lives the lessons nuns taught me growing up,” Biden said.
“Lessons based on the Gospel of Matthew: feed the hungry, care for the sick, welcome strangers,” Biden stated.
“They echo what my dad taught me, and I mean this sincerely; my dad used to say, ‘Everyone, everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.'” Biden added.

“The Congressional Black Caucus embodies all those values,” Biden added, identifying the wrong group.
In 2020, Biden faced massive backlash after he told podcast host, Charlamagne tha God, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”
Charlamagne responded, “It don’t have nothing to do with Trump. It has to do with the fact, I want something for my community.”
“Take a look at my record, man!” Biden shot back.
In August, Conservative commentator Larry Elder gave Charlamagne tha God a history lesson on Joe Biden’s racism, including past actions and remarks.
Elder went on to bring up more examples of Biden’s racism.

The news comes as almost half of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents are growing more concerned about Biden’s age.
Biden’s physical and mental competence are becoming more obvious.
