Irish President Michael Higgins’ large Bernese mountain dog did not take to Joe Biden too well during the Democrat’s visit to the European country.
They say dogs are a good judge of character.
The Irish president’s dog began frantically barking at Joe Biden as the two leaders approached the animal.
The pup, whose name is Misneach, meaning “Courage,” first began wagging his tail as he spotted his owner but quickly became spooked when Biden approached and crouched in front of him.
Maybe Misneach was MAGA? Or perhaps the dog was just worried he was about to get sniffed?
“Bad dog,” a person off camera could be heard jokingly shouting.
Biden continued trying to gain the dog’s trust but to no avail.
Misneach continued to bark and snub Biden.
Biden eventually gave up and walked away as the pair continued their tour of the gardens at the Irish president’s residence.

The incident comes just days after Biden confused New Zealand’s All Blacks rugby team with the British military force known as the Black and Tans that terrorized Ireland.
Biden’s gaffe was made during a Wednesday speech in the Windsor pub in Dundalk.
On Tuesday, Biden concluded his disastrous speech in the country by reading the teleprompter’s instructions.
“End of quote,” Biden said.
