Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told voters worried about the forthcoming rematch between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden to “get over yourselves.”
Clinton appeared on Monday’s “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon, who asked her what she would tell voters who may be “upset that those are the two choices.”
“I mean, it’s [President Joe Biden] versus [former President Donald Trump]. We know that,” Fallon said while laughing.
“Yes. It is. It is,” Clinton said.
Fallon then asked:
“What do you say to voters who are upset that those are the two choices?”
“Get over yourself, those are the two choices,” Clinton declared.
“Yeah. I love that,” Fallon responded.
“You know, it’s kind of like, one is old and effective and compassionate, has a heart, and really cares about people, and one is old and has been charged with 91 felonies. I don’t understand why this is even a hard choice. Really. I don’t understand it,” Clinton said.
She added:
“But we have to go through the election and hopefully people will realize what’s at stake because it’s an existential question.”
“What kind of country we’re going to have, what kind of democracy we’re going to have. And people who blow that off are not paying attention, because it’s not like Trump, his enablers, his empowers, his allies are not telling us what they want to do. I mean, they’re pretty clear about what kind of country they want,” she said.
“Get out there and vote,” Fallon said.
“Get out there. This is a that’s what this is really about. Get out there and vote,” Clinton said.
Watch
Former Clinton staffer and Democratic strategist James Carville has admitted they are losing young minority voters to former president Donald Trump.
According to Carville, minority voters are leaving the party ‘in droves.’
Carville is in panic mode, and rightly so.
The New York Post reported:
Democratic strategist James Carville warned Sunday that the Democratic Party’s eroding numbers among young minority voters are “horrifying” heading into the presidential election.
“I’ve been very vocal about this,” the former Bill Clinton campaign strategist said on his “Carville’s Classroom” podcast.
“It’s horrifying our numbers among younger voters, particularly younger blacks, younger Latinos… younger people of color. Particularly males.”
“We’re not shedding them; they’re leaving in droves,” he added.
