Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested President Joe Biden is the best candidate to run against former President Donald Trump in 2024
Clinton’s claims come as Democrats are distancing themselves from Biden as polls indicate American voters have soured due to open borders, soaring inflation, and a possible WW3.
Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Clinton whether Biden is “the best person to take him [Trump] on.”
“Yes he is,” Clinton replied.
“And he’s done a really good job as president.”
When Clinton was asked what she thought would happen if Trump returned to the White House, she said it would mean “the end of our country as we know it.”
Watch
Biden would be 86 years old by the end of a second term in office.
As The Blaze noted:
“While Marianne Williamson and Rep. Dean Phillips are running in the Democratic presidential primary, Biden appears likely to easily clinch the Democratic presidential nod. Trump appears likely to win the GOP presidential nomination.”
“I didn’t set out to enter this race. But it looks like on our current course, the Democrats will lose and Trump will be our President again,” Phillips has suggested.
“If President Biden is the Democratic nominee, we face an unacceptable risk of Trump being back in the White House.”
Unlike Clinton, other Democrats know Trump is unbeatable and are already preparing to replace Biden as their Democrat nominee in 2024, many prominent players are beginning to make moves.
Earlier this month, Kari Lake said Biden would be replaced at the last second, noting it is “pretty obvious.”
“It’s pretty obvious if you’re watching,” Lake said.
“I think they know that Joe Biden is going to be such a disaster that the Democrat Party will collapse if he is on the ticket,” Lake added.
The Democrats salivating over the prospect of being able to jump into the race include the following:
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
California Governor Gavin Newsom
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker
