Tech billionaire Elon Musk highlighted seven reasons he is supporting Donald Trump for president in te 2024 election during an interview with Lex Fridman this week.
Musk officially declared his Trump endorsement following the former president’s near-assassination attempt at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The X owner also stressed the need for a courageous leader to represent the U.S.
He then drew a sharp contrast between Trump and Joe Biden.
“Poor guy [Biden] has trouble climbing a flight of stairs, and the other one’s fist-pumping after getting shot. This is no comparison,” Musk commented.
Musk listed national security and the country’s borders as one of his primary concerns.
“We don’t have a secure border,” Musk stated.
He added that in order to have national safety and stability, a secure border is crucial.
Musk also expressed a desire for “safe and clean cities,” implying that the current administration has failed to achieve this.
Musk also listed fiscal responsibility as another critical factor.
“We’re currently spending at a rate that is bankrupting the country,” Musk warned, adding that Trump is the better candidate to curb excessive spending.
He then expressed his shared vision for reducing bureaucratic bloat.
“Reduce the size of government” is a mantra that resonates with Musk, who values efficiency and innovation.

Musk is also fight more battles concerning his support for the former president.
Last week, we reported that Michigan’s Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is investigating the America PAC, which Musk would be donating millions to, over its methods of collecting data from voters.
“Every citizen should know exactly how their personal information is being used by PACs, especially if an entity is claiming it will help people register to vote in Michigan or any other state,” a spokeswoman for Benson’s office said in a statement to CNBC.
“While the America PAC is a federal political action committee, the Department is reviewing their activities to determine if there have been any violations of state law,” they continued.
“We will refer potential violations to the Michigan Attorney General’s office as appropriate.”
